John Cridland visits BRL - June 2014

Bristol Robotics Laboratory was delighted to welcome John Cridland CBE, Director-General of the CBI (Confederation of British Industry), to the laboratory on 18th June 2014.

John toured BRL’s impressive facilities and learnt about the latest developments in robotics and autonomous systems, before delivering UWE’s Annual Boland Lecture as part of the Bristol Distinguished Executive Address Series, where he talked about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the run up to the 2015 General Election, and beyond.

In an interview with Ian Mean, Content Director at media group Local World, John Cridland speaks about the ground-breaking research being undertaken at BRL.
