David Willetts meets RoboThespian™ at UWE
RoboThespian™
The Minister for Universities and Science, the Rt Hon David Willetts, dropped in on the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) on 26 September 2011, where he was greeted by a robot called RoboThespian™.
RoboThespian™ is a life sized humanoid robot, an automated interactive actor and was created to educate, communicate, and entertain by Engineered Arts Ltd. The robot is used by BRL in several research projects.
Sensor experts from UWE demonstrated a range of high profile research projects to the Minister and introduced him to a number of robots.
