Development and Integration of Microbial Fuel Cell Stacks for Powering Low Energy Applications
The aim of this project is to develop a portable Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) pack capable of powering, in a sustainable way, a wide range of low-energy devices. Applications primarily include Autonomous Robotics and stand-alone Remote Sensing. Further developments may include the powering of other specialized off-the-grid equipment such as portable IT systems, Environmental Monitoring tools and Medical Support apparatus.
More Microbial Fuel Cell projects are described here.
